THE OFFICIAL HOME OF THE SAINT JOHN SLOPITCH LEAGUE

League received their starter pack for the year of 18 softballs, 11 line up cards, 1 scorebook, and Coors Light beverages.  If any team did not make the meeting to collect, please contact any one of the Executives to arrange pick up.

Next item on the board was looking to see about getting Division Reps.  We have the following nominated in for each division:

A – Steve Craig from Blush (nominated by Rob Keary)

B – Brandon Hanson from Brew Crew (nominated by Mike Murray)

C – Dwayne Logan from Hitmen (nominated by Joe Gould)

D – Shawn Gionet from Ballerz (nominated himself)

The Executive then reminded all the team’s reps to make sure that they go to the SPN website to register and sign the new waiver for all new and returning players.  This has been updated on the league Facebook page and the leagues website.

The Executive advised the league that we will be changing the locks from a key lock to a combo pin lock.  Once these locks have been put in place, we will reach out to all the reps to provide the combination.

 

The next item was the 2 Executive positions that were up for renewal: Vice President and Treasurer

 

Incumbents:

Shawn Hanson, Vice President

Peter McMenamon, Treasurer

 

There were no new nominations for either position, therefor both Shawn and Peter graciously agreed to renew their 2 year terms for those positions.  Welcome back Shawn and Peter!

The Executive asked if there are any questions regarding COVID-19 guidelines, lineup card submissions, or current or new league rules.

​

A reminder that league fees are due by May 21st, the asking amount for then is $600.

 

Next meeting will be June 18th where the remaining amount for league fees will need to be paid in full.
